LOB: 19!!!!!1!

19 men left on base last night!! Wow!

The Rangers had the bases loaded twice in extra innings last night and did they score??  Nope. David Murphy was the opposite of clutch last night.  I tried to warn him via yelling at the TV that the pitcher was going to continue throwing him sliders, but apparently he didn’t get the message.

I had to laugh when speed-demon Gerald Laird thought he could score from third on a sharply hit grounder to the shortstop.  He was out by a mile.  I believe at one point we had a runner on third with no outs and did we score?  Nope.

How did the Rangers finally score?  A wild pitch that skipped off home plate and went between the catcher’s legs allowed Catalanotto to score.

If you’re a Rangers fan, you know there is a list of things that the Rangers won’t be good at.  Scoring runs isn’t on that list.  What’s wrong with my Rangers?

But hey – A win is a win!  Especially considering the level of play I’ve seem them play at early this season, I’ll will take a win no matter what fashion it came in.
